The Ga National Fair: Delicious Day 1

MMMM mmm MMMM

The smells at the fair are what I will call la-dicious!

It's NOT good that when I look to my left on stage this is what I see:

Everywhere you look - there is something else fried and gooey and scrumptious to eat. Miguel and I shared our first plate of sin this afternoon:

We are sharing a stage with the legendary Motown group - The Tams and there simply couldn't be a nicer group of gentlemen. As I was writing out our set lists for the day, their guitar player, Versai came up to me and said "Are you mapping out how you're gonna destroy us onstage?" SERIOUSLY?!?!? Ummm... yeah.... sure guys... because we have "Platinum" and "Gold" records on our resume.... Oh wait. Nope. That's YOU GUYS.
No, but they were just wonderful to us.

The funny thing is (and this is disturbingly consistent) - the no name band that followed us recently... I won't say when... were such jerks and divas about getting on and off the stage. We were going as fast as we could, but they were so rude to us. Yet as we are setting up today, The Tams who are legends... are asking us if THEIR stuff is in the way. It's just classy. Of course, we're gonna move OUR stuff around theirs - but the fact that they have the class to care. That's just good business. :)

The Fair is off to a great start and the weather was GORGEOUS today! Nice change from the freezing rain of last year.

Peace. Love. Fiddle.
