I Swear I Just Blinked

Man, how time flies!

Tonight I went to my 10 year high school reunion. WOW. I can't believe it! I remember feeling like that was soooooo far away. But as I was on way tonight I started thinking about life since high school. I mean... I wasn't even allowed to have my ears pierced yet!!! :)

One of the guys called me "Shania" when we walked in, and I had forgotten that there were a few that called me that. In high school... it was still a "dream" to pursue music and do this thing full time. I mean, I KNEW I would be doing this. I thought it would be at a bigger capacity at this point... but that's the great thing about dreams. They should always be big so you can keep reaching. But it was such a good feeling to truly be happy as I caught up with old friends.

I am so proud of my classmates, too. I looked around the patio tonight and saw numerous med students, farmers, accountants, mothers, fathers, chefs, business owners, you name it!

But I don't know... maybe you shouldn't listen to me. I mean, I'm just happy to own a couch. :)
