Ohio State University, Lima and Rhodes State College all Wrapped into One Giant Circus Tent!

We are HEADING HOOOOOME!!!!! I get to see Cinnamon in a few hours!!! YAY!!!!!

We've done 43 shows since mid March and we've been out for almost 8 weeks straight, so we are all ready for a little break. :)

And Lordy, we went out with a bang today!!! Ohio State University in Lima (who also shares a campus with Rhodes State College) put on an incredible show today. They've been advertising a ton. This is the show we had to postpone due to the flooding in Nashville - and I was so excited that they were able to reschedule!

They put a HUGE circus tent in the middle of campus - rain was NOT gonna be an issue this time. And the weather actually opened up and was gorgeous for the show! It was cold this morning, so I had prepared by dressing warmly... umm... big mistake. It felt like a Panama City Beach show by the end!!! I was all a glisten by the end of the show :) (Cause you know... I don't sweat. I glisten... RIIIIIGHT)

The show was a REALLY good one. Tons of people, lots of energy, and my favorite was that so many people were wearing their Peace Love Fiddle tees in the audience!

Only one sad part about the show - It was Matt's last show with us. :( We've had so much fun having Matt around - he's such a great player and added a whole new color to the band. It's only been a week and a half, but he's already a part of the family. Do you think it would be overkill to have THREE guitarists in the band? He and David can share a bench in the van, can't they?

Thank you for everything CAB!!! We LOVED our gift bags last night in the hotel. And Amy - the coffee and Grinders were both excellent touches to the day. Thank you all for being so helpful and making the show so easy on us!

Quincy and Gabby - Viola and Cello players! They were rockin the Peace. Love. Fiddle. Tee's and even though NEITHER of them play the fiddle - you should have heard them play mine after the show. AMAZING. These are two VERY talented girls who are gonna go really far!

The Police Academy Boys. All smiles here.

I've got my "O" down :)

Thanks for being a blog reader, John!!!

And thank you to EVERYONE for coming out today! You helped make our last show (before a little break) one of the best of this entire leg of the tour!

Peace. Love. Fiddle.

We are very proud to announce that we have ins tan tay knee us Lee formed the Shady Grove Glisteners and of course you will be our Queen Glistener 4ever !!

and 3 geytarists sounds great !!

After the hail storm today sounded like a rock storm hitting Walmarts roof I just invented a new musical instrument, the mudtar, and now I'm having fun making some high quality mud to go with the Water Boy's high quality H2O : )

I'm also working on a hailbrella, but so far I can't find any of my friends in Shady Grove to admit they use an umbrella, and I think the little stick umbrellas use will be too puny to hold up my hailbrella anyway : ) : )
