Thoughts From Late Night At the Jersey Shore

Staying up writing songs until 4:30 in the morning. "Work" doesn't get
any better than this!

When Gordon and I are working, our biggest problem is that we can't
stop creating...
Tonight for example, as we were working on the lyrics to a song (the
longest and most tedious part of the process) we started 3 NEW
songs... Makes progress slower for now but pretty awesomely ridiculous
for the long run.

As we're creating, I always think every song we're working on is "the
best song ever" :) which I guess is a good thing. I never go into one
of our songs thinking "well, this one's good but..."

Peace. Love. Fiddle.

i have heard of some song writers who go into a song, like it,,, finish it and think its not that great... but it turns out to be their no.1 song that puts them on the map! no lie! lol
