Thanks Washburn!!

Washburn University posted an article and a video today. Washburn is in Topeka, Kansas. :) We did the radio show on 94.5 that morning, and a tv show in the afternoon and then this show at night. It was great, we played "Standing My Ground" at 8:00am, 4:30pm, and 9:30 pm :) That makes for a good day!

Here's the little clip they posted!

Yeah - I talk with my hands. I was even aware of it consciously DURING that interview. My Granny says that my Grandpa Tom talked with his hands, too. :) At least I know where it comes from.

I also found myself on another website today :) This one is a little bit different from any website I've ever been featured on :)
It is all about an RF5B motorglider.
Yup!!! My father-in-law has a glider. I have gotten to go up in it twice to see Seattle from the air. It is the most peaceful place in the world to be soaring with the clouds in a glider. It is amazing when he turns the motor off. So BEAUTIFUL up there. He has built an entire site dedicated to RF5B's. It is really fascinating. And if you click on "Photo's 1" you'll get a glimpse of one of my rides!

We drove most of the day again today. We started out at iHop... and Hootie was apparently feelin like it was a "wheat toast" kind of day :)

We went to Lowes and sealed up the trailer... well... James sealed it - he's the only one that could reach it!

We have landed in Syracuse, NY for the evening and are planning on staying for 2 nights. It will be SOOO nice to not have to get up and leave at check-out. Staying in the same room for more than one night is such a luxury! We stopped to see Watchmen tonight - Hootie's been waiting on it to come out. He read the comic book, so he was excited about the movie. It was good - fascinating visually. I enjoyed it, but I was prepared... Hootie had prepared us all for what to expect :) Who knows what I would have thought if I had just seen it on a whim - I was always intrigued by the previews.

Peace, Love, Fiddle, and Goodnight!

Hi Natalie : )

We have just seen your awesome video and we immediately unanimously and very excitedly voted to make you our honorary Queen of Hand Talking and Gesturing !!

Physical beauty is not supposed to count in the vote, but it did, a lot, but even if your beauty was not considered, which would be very hard to do, your variety of artistic gesturing abilities are amazing and will be used to train future hand talkers for many generations !!

We hope you like the fancy name of our organization. When we stole Gestura from the Latin language they showed us a few funny gestures we had never seen before.

The lovely Latin language lovers really know how to use motions of the limbs or body as a means of expression. They were in awe of your beautiful use of hands and many said that they think you must have much Latino blood in your countrified soul !!

We all love you and your loyal band that supports you so much, and we would like to make James, Miguel, and Wheat Toast Hootie honorary members of the Hand Talker's Club, because we consider their great use of hands on their musical instruments to be amongst some of the coolest and most important gesturing in the history of our planet.

It's hard for us to type and gesuture at the same time, so we'll close for now. Thank you for sharing your tremendous gesturing beauty with the world. We are typing this last sentence with one hand so we can lovingly gesture a big wave of goodbye to the beautiful star we know as Natalie Stovall !!

Congratulations Natalie !!

We on the farm have always loved your gesturing too !!

We tried to watch you and learn, but then we quickly discovered in the wildest ways that it's best not to gesture while you're using any farm impliments.

We don't know whether to send our video of the incidents to America's Funniest Video or Funniest Farm Accidents, which is the number one ranked show on our Shady Grove television network : )

Did you know that the famous last words of many a wild farm boy was "Hey y'all watch this : ) : )

We hope you never drive and use your hands to talk at the same time, but if you do we would like a video : ) : )

Just kidding or JK as you young chickees say : )

Have fun sangin and playin !!

I didn't even notice the hands until you pointed it out. Wonder what that means!
