Sam Hill's goofing around

Me and the girls goofing around at Sam Hill's for lunch :) The "duck"
is my niece McKinley. And her friend is Abby. Of course, my nephew, Cameron, could not be left out of the silliness!

Four leaf clover picking!

My Mamma is ridiculously good a finding 4-leaf clovers. I used to love
to look for them with her when I was a kid. We were at James'
Grandparent's farm in Iowa and kid you not....
Mamma looked down, bent over and just picked one. Saw it without even
REALLY looking. I tried really hard to find another one.... but I
can't keep up! She's too good!

Jenn on Can You Duet... not really

So we were hanging out at Miguel and Jenn's place - just having some
dinner and watching our friends, Wild Honey on "Can You Duet" on CMT.
I have to say though... equally as entertaining as watching the girls
was watching Jenn try to find herself in the crowd!!! She knew the
general area where she stood for the taping, and even though she spent
most of the night pointing and LAUGHING hysterically at the tv trying
to find herself... we never saw her. But we had fun trying!!!

Cleaning blog

It is AMAZING how much *stuff* one can acquire over the years. My
parents are getting new carpets put in plus I am moving out in a
month, so I am going through basically 25 years of STUFF acquired in
one room. I mean, I moved out for college and have basically lived in
the Suburban and hotels for over a year, but yeah, I have had the same
room my entire life. So there's LOTS of cleaning out, throwing away,
giving to Goodwill, and taking to Plato's Closet to be done. :)

There's
one pair of shoes that I will never wear agin - but I just
can't get rid of them.... I used to LOVE these things. They are platforms            
that look more like they belong in the 70's, but oh I wore them ALL the 

time in the 90's. Along with my favorite thigh high's, Alicia
Silverstone style. :) Are those ever going to come back into style? I
still think "thights" are adorable.

Conveyor Belt

The other day I noticed something in the grocery store.

For some reason it bothers me when I put something down on the
conveyor belt and they move it all the way to the front even while
they are still checking out the next person. I realized this
consciously the other day because I almost grabbed my stuff and put it
back in front of me! It's bothered me my entire life, but I usually
don't think about it. Sometimes I don't even want to set it down until
the person in front of me is done. It's my stuff, it shouldn't be way
up by the scanner until I am ready to check out.

That's how I feel anyway. :) To say it out loud sounds like it should
be a Seinfeld episode.
