Running Down A Dream: St. Charles Community College Day 2!

Well... the weather didn't quite cooperate like it did yesterday... so we had to move in doors. But hey! Again they had free food, us playing, tons of give aways and lots of college students! All you need!

Our rain location was in the gym, and the angle of the stage looked across the room into the upstairs where the aerobics classes were going - they were making me tired up there! I must say - that was a first - to watch aerobics during a show. :)

So... yesterday we rocked so hard, my belt came off. Today? We rocked so hard we tripped a breaker in the first set. That has NEVER happened before. The funny thing was - we didn't realized it at first. We have in ear monitors and they kept working, so we had no idea the main speakers were off. The sound man kept giving me the "cut off" sign mid-song... which confused me at first, but then I realized what had happened. My mic was off so there was really no graceful way to stop... But hey! The students didn't seem to mind. And it was only about 10 minutes before we were back up and running.

When we arrived on campus, they had a picture from the show yesterday blown up, and ready for us to sign. They already had it framed and ready to go up on the wall by the time we were getting ready to leave!

We may not have had as many people at the show (with the rain location)... but we were NOT lacking in enthusiasm!!! We had LOTS of students come back from yesterday, plus we made a bunch of new friends as we always do :)

Gabby came back with lots of frieds! And again, they MADE MY DAY!!! Such beautiful dancers and singers. I believe they are all rock stars in the making :)
