EPIC 4th of July... in Italy :)

Yesterday... I played in the crater of a Volcano in Naples, Italy with Saftey Suit and Bowling for Soup for the 4th of July. Definitely my most Epic 4th of July to date. Pretty unbelievable.

The show was incredible. I've never seen a volcano... until this trip. Therefore I have never seen a volcano crater. But the one we played in was GORGEOUS!!!

Both shows with Bowling for Soup have been AWESOME!!! I wish they could play the whole tour with us, but they had to get back to London for some already booked shows.

Tomorrow we head out to the Middle East. I will probably have less internet there than I've had here. BUT I have a lot of catching up to do once I get back. The picture album from this trip is going to be unbelievable.

Today we had the day off - they took us to the Coast... in Sorrento. If you don't know where that is, think "James Bond". When they show shots of the beautiful Italian coast, houses on cliffs, overlook the ocean... yeah. That's Sorrento. SOOOO amazing. We had a true Italian lunch at Pizza by the Meter - where they make a 6 foot pizza. Lunch took 2 hours... SO. MUCH. FOOD. They just KEPT bringing the food. Pizzas, Pastas, bread, appetizers, more appetizers... on and on. And apparently that was a small meal in comparison to a real Italian dinner.

I'm scared of Italian dinners.

Although, I will say that I like the pacing! Instead of eating a ton at once... you eat a little, then they bring out the next thing, prepare it, and eat the next bit. So you have time to digest. Only problem is... that's why you can eat SO MUCH!
