Dollars to Dinar

I had to get security clearance to use this computer!

And I definitely just logged into Blogger from an all Arabic home page. Good thing I knew the layout enough to guess where to go. :)

We flew into the Middle East last night from Naples via Frankfurt. It was all quite the experience. Poor Doug - the lead singer of Safety Suit... they lost his bag... again... Everyone finally all got their bags a couple of days ago, and now we've already lost one of them again. :( But he was in good spirits about it. Just part of International traveling!

At least this time, we all had emergency clothes and show clothes in our carry-ons for back-up!

Our seats on the plane had awesome tv screens in the backs of the seats - Got to watch some good movies. But the coolest thing was that we could see all the citites in Iraq and Saudi that we were flying over. It was pretty amazing.

We all just exchanged some US Dollars for Dinar - they have beautiful money here. And it works out to about 3 US Dollars to 1 Dinar. Boooo. ;) But tomorrow we are supposed to have a little time to go to some local shops and markets in the city. I am excited about being able to take all that in.
