The Country Girl in the Metal Bar

We played an INCREDIBLE show tonight at Scout Bar in Houston, TX. We
are actually staying at "Motel 6 NASA" on NASA Blvd. Craziness!

I don't really know how it works... Little
Country girl being booked at a metal bar. It is NOT a room full of
country fans. But the reaction to the show was electric. We were all
so pumped up on stage and the guys really put on an awesome performance.

Here's some of the highlights of the evening:

A friend from high school, Ryan Cantrell showed up!!! I didn't even
know he was in Houston, but he's all
grown up and an attourney now... It was SO good to see him and catch
up! We always did the musicals together :)

One girl told me that I made her want to "switch teams". Hilarious.

The audience went nuts after the last song and demanded an encore!!!
And THEN later we were told that has never happened before at Scout Bar!

The Big Lebowski came on in the Green Room and later we all
unknowingly had ordered White Russians. ALL of us.

Lots of metal heads are now officially converted to accept country
music :) I've done my job. Even if it was just tonight... That was
awesome.

We went to Ihop afterwards and got a 20% discount when they found out
that we were the band at Scout Bar.

This Motel 6 has faux wooden floors. I don't believe I have ever
stayed in a hotel room that wasn't carpeted.

It is now 5:15am and my eyes are closing as I am writing this...
