Carrot Cake to Ease the Pain

Let me just say...
This band is incredible. James, Miguel, and I are so excited about the
way things are going. We knew these guys were talented and that they
could hold their own. But you never truly know what the chemistry will
be like until you really get going. This retreat at my parent's TN
River house is just the best way we could have ever started out the
year. We are workin our tails off with rehearsals, but we're having a
blast the whole time. We're all worn out, but it's the good kind. I
can barely talk, our fingers all hurt really bad, but it's like the
soreness after a great work out. It's the after effects of 12 hours
of learning and creating music together!!!
Plus... The neighbors are here for the weekend. We were really
concerned about driving them nuts. James went to talk to them today...
They are next door and we can see them through the window. But Phil is
a guitar player and singer in Memphis and just one of the nicest guys!
He told us to turn it up and his wife made a carrot cake for us!!!!!
Soooo sweet!! Best next door neighbors ever.
Tomorrow is our last full day here. We still have a lot to learn :) so
it'll be another great day!

Peace Love Fiddle

O M GOSH !!

The timing on this message is awesome, because our grinners and pickers jest reeleyes-duh that they did not recieve an invite to your auditions ( because I made sure they didn't know : )

I made it all good and told them how happy you are and that made them happy, so we is all happy, and then we all sat and watched The Darlings sing with Andy Taylor, so we is happy as pigs in slop : )

Once again ... Farm Boy to the rescue : ) : )

Peace, Love, and Grinning while we pick
