First Show. Done.

I <3 BASF. :) What a great way to start off the year! It was exactly
how we started it off last year, too :)

We just got in the van and it's 2:00am. We loaded out as quickly as
possible, but this was the earliest we could get out of there. We have
to be in Stevenville TX by 4:00pm and ummm Jeeves says that if we
don't stop at all we'll get there right on time.

We'll see how that one turns out.

We've made good time so far, so I think we'll be fine. But we've run
into really bad weather a few times today.

The interstate was closed for hours this morning in Iowa. And the
entire trip was just a sea of automobile carcasses. It looked like a
graveyard. We wished we had started counting because you couldn't go
an entire mile without seeing a car that had spun off. And lots of
them were giant semis and trailers. Ughh... it was pretty despressing.
But most of them were upright, so I hope most people are ok. We found
out it was mostly due to the wind that came with the snow... It was
basically a white out and cars couldn't see a thing in front of them.

We were so thankful that we ended up having to rehearse yesterday and
didn't leave TN until way after we wanted to. It may have saved our
lives! If we had gotten in earlier, we
might have been tempted to keep
driving and not stop when did. But we defintely JUST missed the storm
on both ends...

Somebody's watching over us.

Gonna try to catch some zzz's in this ole back seat :)
