The Goat

We ate at this awesome place called "Goat" today on the island. It was
right above a Chocolate Museum. :) The Goat grows their own tomatoes
and basil - I could see the garden from where we were sitting. And the
tomatoes lived up to my expectations.

People kept getting up and going to get board games! The couple
behind us was playing connect 4 and then I saw a little girl go get
Battle Ship.
I hope we go back tomorrow :)

The other day we went to a restaurant and they took our real menus
away and handed us a sheet of paper. Turns out they were having their
employee Christmas party??? And everyone that was working that day was
from other restaurants on the island! They had to edit the menu down
to things the cooks could prepare. Our waiter had never served tables
before - he was a bar tender... It was pretty awesome.

My cell phone keeps trying to connect to a Canadian Cell Tower... So I
have to make sure I'm not being charged international rates... Ummm...
in Ohio.

Show went great tonight. Mustang Sally asked me to stick around and
play a couple of songs with them. Sarah - their fiddle player - and I
did a bit of "duelin fiddles" on "Devil Went Down To Georgia" &
"Orange Blossom Special". It was so much fun!!! I haven't just PLAYED
like that in a LOOOONG time! I felt like I was getting back to my
roots. :)

Ahhhh. 1 more day in Put-In-Bay!
