Conveyor Belt

The other day I noticed something in the grocery store.

For some reason it bothers me when I put something down on the
conveyor belt and they move it all the way to the front even while
they are still checking out the next person. I realized this
consciously the other day because I almost grabbed my stuff and put it
back in front of me! It's bothered me my entire life, but I usually
don't think about it. Sometimes I don't even want to set it down until
the person in front of me is done. It's my stuff, it shouldn't be way
up by the scanner until I am ready to check out.

That's how I feel anyway. :) To say it out loud sounds like it should
be a Seinfeld episode.

Okay...so I have to comment on this sista. I'm equally annoyed by conveyor belt moving my stuff so that its in front of someone else. I on the other hand...am alway conscious of the fact that i feel this way...haha

I agree and I really really hate when they start ringing up your items as you are still unloading your cart onto the belt... I like to be able to see that thing are being rang up at the cost I am expecting to pay... Plus the other day at Wal-mart the cashier accidentally rang up an item left from the customers in front of me and naturally I didn't notice til I got home because it was scanned and bagged before I had even looked up... GRRR :)

Whoa - yeah that would be so frustrating to realize you paid for someone else's stuff! Unless it was something fun... but still... you want to KNOW about that stuff! I am so glad I am not alone in this :)
